About Us

IGM was founded in 1968 by Allen E. Frantz. Business was based on high precision carbide tooling for the local piston ring industry. Allen retired in 1986, and the business is currently owned and operated by his daughter Brenda Amaya, as a certified Woman-Owned Business.

While the piston ring industry continues to be part of our business, we are diversified into most industries now, including defense, military, medical, metal working machinery, power generation, stamping, and more.

IGM is your full-service job shop. Our CNC machining department does CNC turning, CNC machining, and conventional machining on our state-of-the-art equipment. Our Grinding department can take those machined parts and hold tighter tolerances to give you the exact precise part you are looking for. Even more applications? Our Wire EDM department has high precision Mitsubishi machines with the fine finish options, made specially for carbide and close tolerances.
